Yes, I do intend to dwell on the iniquitous blocking of Flickr!

On 20 January BLDGBLOG was listed in the highly authoritative Guardian, responsible proponent of cybercool transmedial conversationality, by someone who recognizes it as a valuable forum to discuss urbanism, architecture and design. All the blog's images, a vital part of the message obviously, are hosted on Flickr!

Now I shall not be here in the Sandlands for ever. And here I have, indeed, learned patience.

But what about the future urbanists, budding Emirati architects and designers in a nation which is building, building, building as if there was no tomorrow? Their patience will surely be sorely tried.
