Short and sweet for today, and without an evocative visual...
Business Week Online has a story titled You ought to be in webcasts which is well worth the short read.
This coming weekend includes the UAE National Day (2 December) for which I plan to dress appropriately. Not in pristine white disdasha, though. I shall wear my kilt to signify my country of origin and a baseball cap in the four colours of the Emirates' flag to honour the country which I've called home for the past four years and which now celebrates the 35th anniversary of its founding.
Whether or not I post a photo of myself in this outfit depends on whether any of my readers (do I actualy have any?) formally request this self-revelatory gesture!
I think I'll also be drafting a think-piece titled Thirty-five and extraordinarily rich. This will absolutely not draw any parallels between Sacha Baron Cohen and the United Arab Emirates. But Michael Dell is in my frame, I think, along with others for whom being so young and so loaded does raise... issues.

Hey, I just discovered your blog. So far it looks nice. Living in UAE surely is interesting.
Good luck!
