A whole year has passed since our satellite television channel GearOne went on the air. Since our programming is entirely automotive themed, whenever there's a major event involving cars and motoring we're present.
We started last year with the Dubai show, and this year we broadcast from Sharjah.
From tomorrow it's the motorshow here in the federal capital, Abu Dhabi. Due to the 4pm to 10pm opening times I may not have much time left over to post any Sandlander observations after office day plus exhibition.
I'll be on the stand and I always enjoy the opportunity to chat with viewers who all know a lot more about cars than I do. But I know more about television than they do!
It's also an occasion to confess: I have never had a drivers' license. Anywhere. Ever. And the only car I would dream of driving is the one below...
