A grumpy ol' man start to the day

I start my day with a stroll, no, a march through my growing blogroll. The links displayed at the left are merely a selection of the sites I visit regularly, those I would strongly recommend to all who share Sandlander's Media 2.0 interests.

The items I re-blog are, I think, beginning to have a signature. The topography of my interests, the profile of my specific selections, is beginning taking a recognizable form.

But today I must advise my readers (not numerous, but 45% are returning readers) that I will not be re-blogging anything from RosenblumTV.Com. Why? Because any of you who are interested in what I select from various sources will be remiss if they do not follow Michael Rosenblum on a daily basis. And, when I think of it, that probably goes for Jeff Jarvis (BuzzMachine), too.

Now the 'grumpy' bit... This morning I simply lost count of the number of times I hit a link to an illustration of some article and found myself thwarted by the blocking of Flickr which our Sandlands ISP has decreed.

Let there be an end to this, d'ya hear?

I blogged the other day, musing on possibly extending my stay here in Abu Dhabi to be able to witness some of the architectural extravaganzas the coming years promise. I was forgetting that these building will rise in a state where one of the best architectural blogs I have found, http://bldgblog.blogspot.com, is denuded of illutrative material. How incredibly far-sighted!
