Other walls remain

Although the previous post celebrates, or rather alludes to, walls coming down in the Sandlands, others remain. We note the first full quarter-year of being denied access to the photo-sharing site Flickr.

Coincidentally two days ago a BBC report underlined the significance of Flickr, pointing to a career which might have gone un-launched but for the networking/showcase potential of this landmark Media 2.0 website.



And, yes, Sandlander rather enjoys the fact that the BBC piece highlights a talent I have been promoting for the past six months, Miss Aniela (link in the blogroll at the left, for those free to use it).
