And finally for today, this...

Today's posts seem to have a kind of seriality. Websodix, then aesthetics, then talent to be supported and nurtured, and a convenient segue to France.

First, though, this video.

What, I hear you cry (all six of you?) does this video have to do with France? Archetypal Americana, the Airstream revue et corrigée by an absolutely brilliant designer?

The connection is, perhaps, tenuous. But since I was just a kid I have always been fascinated by what we Brits call caravans and Yanks call trailer homes. Maybe I always suspected that I would never amass the wherewithall which would permit ownership of a bricks-and-mortar dwelling.

Some may know that I have never in my life driven a car or even applied for a driving license. So what's this with caravans? Can't answer that. But the closest I came to realizing my dream is shown below.

The unit on the left was my compact residence, the one on the right our Production Office. Hmm... thirty years ago super 16mm was cutting edge! But I still think the logo of les Réalisatuers Associés ages well.
And if I ever get another crack at the caravan thing it will be an Airstream.
