The first tent, the upper picture, is of one of the tents at the Munich Oktoberfest, where my daughter and her teenage friends spent a happy weekend, rejoicing in each others' company, celebrating coming together in a shared experience. One rooted in a secular tradition.
The second tent is one of the many sites installed to permit the breaking of the fast, Iftar, on the days of the holy month of Ramadan. Here, too, there is rejoicing in each others' company, celebrating coming together in a shared experience. One rooted in a religious tradition.
I'm for tents of all kinds.
