Faces



On the left in the photo above, Dmitry Medvedev, named by Vladimir Putin as his preferred successor. Many say it's a choice which bodes well for the future. What I do know is that the photo is amazing, inviting leisurely and profound reading of the faces pictured.

Here's another face. I didn't recognize Steve Jobs immediately without his signature black mock-turtle-neck sweater. But he looks quite Cupertino-shiny in his suit, does he not? The upgrade of his sartorial software was occasioned by his visit to Oslo, to witness the award of the Nobel Prize to Al Gore.

I shall refrain from trying to establish a tenuous thematic link between the two images. It's just about the faces, really, that caught my imagination among the take-away from today's sessions with GoogleReader and PlayBlogger.
