This year my 'grandstand seat' (otherwise the chair at my office desk) remained empty while the daring young men in their flying machines buzzed across what would have been my field of vision if I'd been home in the Sandlands.
Some consolation in the fact that the Guardian's reporter filed audio which I've embedded here.
[Sad that not even the newest version of Blogger allows simple MP3 embeds. It's a curse and waste of bandwidth to have to make a movie just to distribute audio content.]
