The Democratic candidate has inspired some truly creative tributes, so many and in such a variety of media that it's hard to pick the best examples. And there are sure to be more to come between now and November. The geeky, web-savvy subtlety of this one I like a lot.



The Republican race has also inspired, it seems. And the persiflage handles the Bristol issue with restrained brilliance.

"I know how to fire a gun, Levi. A real gun."

I just checked and there are 289,000 Google-listed articles mentioning the poor girl. And, of course, my Brit mind boggles at the very notion of thus christening a girl-child.

But the Yanks happily name their sons Randy, do they not?
