The Big Picture



Breathtaking imagery has come my way of late from this site, which I feel I should recommend. Many of the photos are not just visually arresting but also very thought provoking, as is the one I posted above.

On the subject of photos, Time Magazine published a selection of shots from the session for which the young man on the left posed in 1980. He looks as if he was enjoying life in those days. Could he have imagined in those days just how much the world's citizens would be one day looking to him for a solution to so many formidable problems? Can we imagine that boy helping to make sure that in the future Venice suffers less frequently from Aqua Alta? Yes we can!
