The Australian TV coverage of the the Melbourne Tennis Open last year introduced images of the tennis players taken with the slo-mo camera.
It was riveting to watch the muscles flexing in arms and legs, and one sequence showed the sweat flying of Nadal - amazing.
It was also interesting to watch how the tennis balls squash when they impact the ground and the way in which tennis racquets bend when coming into contact with the balls.
The slo-mo sequences (cleverly edited and set to music) were almost better than watching the matches!
Sharing thoughts, observations, discoveries... venting spleen from time to time... the self-indulgence that a blog enables. On the Tumblr site I started in June 2010 it's a lot simpler... just images, although sometimes NSFW.

I saw your comment on The Year in Pictures and came to visit. Like what I see. Will return.
Great stuff!
All the best,

Awesome footage. That last wave is a beauty.
