Well done, Etisalat! In spite of the real estate bubble popping people in the Sandlands have been buying full HD television receivers for ages. And now they're getting the programming for them. I recall Ali Ahmed, right in the photo above, being a very forward looking person when I first met him in 2002. At the time he was with Abu Dhabi Television.
I reckon that HD viewing will soon be more widespread (on a per capita basis) in the UAE than here in Germany where many broadcasters are still reluctant to make the switch.
