I have never watched this series although my ex and my daughter are both fans.

Nor will I go and see the movie, in spite of the intriguing promise at about 1 minute into the trailer...

"One week in Abu Dhabi all expenses paid!"

"One of the most luxurious, exotic and vivid places on earth, where the party never ends and there's something mysterious around every corner."

That would probably be the corner where a policeman lurks, alert for blatant outbreaks of clandestine snogging... Jimmy Choo's not accepted as attenuating circumstances.
