The darkness

Again it is time to observe the autumnal equinox. For the next six months the nights will be longer than the days.

I don't like the American term 'fall'... I immediately associate it with the fall from grace described in Genesis and in the Qu'ran... As the angels asked Allah of his plans for the created world...

"Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief and shed blood?"

Well, that he did, didn't he?

It is so much easier to feel prelapsarian in summer!
