That's it, folks!

Today is the last day of the 200th Oktoberfest. Since the sun is shining I shall probably get some of the atmosphere at the downtown Weißbräu tavern which has the music, the beer and the gaiety without the hectic of the overcrowded fairground.

What made for a particularly happy weekend was the fact that on Thursday evening my daughter spontaneously found a ride from Maastricht to Munich and was thus able to spend a full day with her old clique at the Oktoberfest. No, that's not her in the photo, but she promised to send a couple of shots of all of them in their Dirndls! We shall see what we shall see...
