The Write Stuff

The writing... Yes, well since my return to the Sandlands there hasn't been much progress with either of my 'work in progress' manuscripts. It is not for lack of time.

But whereas in the past I might have tended to turn to my writing when nothing more pressing demanded my attention, I now find myself turning up the volume and listening to something fascinating... if often obscure... on BBC Radio 4. 

I blame it on the time difference. The totally addictive Today show reaches me from 10 o'clock to 1 o'clock... if it were from 6 to 9, as it is in the United Kingdom, I would hardly be a listener.

Possibly, in order to get back to my storytelling, I need the iPlayer to be even more arbitrarily unreliable than it currently is.
