Reading matters

I suppose I shall have to get myself an eBook reader device one of these days. But I think I shall wait until the bookstore I so enjoy visiting closes at the end of this year.

Two great books enjoyed since my last post under this heading. The Val McDermid title was a pleasure to read, superbly plotted and mysterious until the very end. I shall certainly catch up on the books I have up to now not read in the Tony Hill series.

The book I just finished was the most challenging of the books by Philip Kerr with his troubled policeman Bernie Gunther. For a Brit whose home is Germany the Kerr books should certainly be required reading.
