Up on the roof

Only a week ago I noted that while in Paris and London there was... unusually... snow on the ground, here in Munich we were simply experiencing permanent sub-zero temperatures. My point was that the snowfall which is perfectly normal in winter here had not yet visited us.

Well, of course, on the next day the snow arrived. And given that the mercury remained in the double-digit minus zone it has remained clean and white and the city really looked rather appealing. Last night we had a few centimetres more but the forecast predicts that it will soon be milder and so the slush and mud season will soon start. But it will be a relief no longer to have chilly fingers on the keyboard...

Anyway, as the video above shows, here in Munich there is not only snow on our roofs but also a rather splendid automobile.
