Jon Lord, the former keyboard player with heavy rock band Deep Purple, has died aged 71.Lord co-founded Deep Purple in 1968 and co-wrote many of the group's songs including Smoke On The Water. So many versions to choose from... the one posted above is unusual but impressive. Defense minister Karl Theodor zu Guttenberg's military farewell from office with full military honors by Germany's military brass band and Berlins guard battalion. Guttenberg chose the song 'Smoke on the Water' as the theme for his formal send-off and the band had only two days to practice it.
