If I had watched the opening ceremony of the London Olympics, I think I would have shared the view of geeks and nerds worldwide. To his left the unit is a NeXT Cube, the device on which he wrote his first World Wide Web browser. This was the computer created by Steve Jobs and introduced in October 1988, the month my daughter was born.
Two gold medals merited... one posthumous.
