...because I finally found the charger for my Sony Cybershot. It was consorting with that pesky crowd of dust-bunnies which congregate together with all the cables under the storage unit beside my desk. This means that as in previous years I shall be able to document not only tomorrow's annual neighbourhood flea market fun but also the Stroke Urban Art show which promises to be as exciting as ever.

...because in spite of what appeared for a long time to be insuperable financial handicaps it has turned out that Jessi can, in fact, fly off to spend a couple of weeks with her boyfriend in Washington DC before heading back to Maastricht to finish writing her bachelor's thesis.
