Learning curves

The ex-wife (in know-it-all mode) insisted that I simply have to have WhatsApp... and GoogleMaps on the shiny new phone.

Why, I ask myself?

The Skype IM window is open whenever I'm using the computer at home, and I cannot imagine life without it. But the notion of messaging during my short daily outing at the end of the workday is frankly bizarre. 

And on the rare occasions that a venturing beyond my Schwabing-West village calls for directions... then I'll have consulted Google in advance and probably printed out the requisite map.

But I really appreciate the camera!
