Since I can remember, Austin Reed was a brand synonymous with masculine elegance. The group had over seventy stores and was founded in1900. Now it is to close and a thousand jobs will be lost.
The winding up of the BHS stores chain will put no fewer than eleven thousand people out of work. The High Streets of the United Kingdom will gain a lot more boarded up windows.
