How rapidly things change. The photo above I found the other day and saw that the Dubai World Trade Centre Apartments looked almost overwhelmed by the construction surrounding the row of buildings which had been in such remarkable isolation in 1993.
The complex was ten years old when I stayed there while attending the Gemex exhibition in 2003. I well remember the gigantic 'poster' on the end of the building as pictured on the right above.
