I.

A new serial offering, I. offered up here. The series claims to be comedy, but it's way too cool to be classed with the jokesters. They're up to Episode 16 (posted on 10 May) with four to five minute previous segments posted since mid-November 2006. Impressive is the commenting traffic, much of it with video submissions.

“The great thing has been the interaction with the audience,” a sincere Craig DiFolco explained. “We write the show week to week and didn’t know where is was going at first.” Much of I.’s personal development takes place at the behest of commentary sent in by YouTube viewers and displayed as personal text messages to I. in the following episode. “The audiences on YouTube are just really creative and collaborative.”

There is mention of some episodes getting well over 200,000 views. It seems to be just a hobby, at this stage. Although they do sell the tee-shirt! The benefit to DiFolco and his crew will be when on the basis of this effort someone signs them up for 'bigger things'.
