Why this post? Partly because I am experimenting with Audioboo and considering using it to add spoken word posts which will hopefully impress... with my sonorous tones... people who might hire me as voice talent! I need the work!
And also... on my very first ever trip to Dubai I was housed in the apartment block at the extreme left edge of the picture. I was one of about half a dozen of us who were spirited off to the Sandlands from Germany to attend the 2002 CabSat exhibition.
