Remember Postcards? #01

A new post category, recalling the days when humble postcards were a form of 'life cache', collected in shoe boxes and only rarely sorted.

I found some I want to scan and share. This is the first, and I think it is timely, given that it goes back to the Frankfurt Book Fair 31 years ago.

At the time Johnny Pigozzi's schtick was to include himself in snaps he made of celebrities. He also was way ahead of the Lomographers in taking photos with no recourse to the viewfinder! 

And is his self-referential style not a forerunner of all the images now being captured at arms' length by self-shooters with their camera phones?
