New Year's Wish

The incorrigible Utopian that I am is very heartened by the news that soon all mobile phone chargers will be standardized in Europe based on a USB plug.

How wonderful it would be if common sense would prevail in so many other areas where a common, standard approach would alleviate so much inconvenience, discomfort and even downright injustice.
