Just sayin'

While the months of May and June were without any harbingers of summery weather to come, July has seen almost uninterrupted fine weather, building up to this weekend's extremely high temperatures.

This evening I shall break my habit of patronizing the 'sitouterie' at Café Schwabing for my cinq à sept. While a pavement café with ample awnings is ideal for a sedentary flaneur, in weather like this the shade offered by the ancient trees of a riverside beer garden could be far more agreeable. I think my departure from routine will be documented in photos, given that Jessi's roomy from her semester in Barcelona is visiting Munich and that Jessi's mother can be counted on to pack a tempting picnic hamper!
