"You may have noticed the sepia-toned Google doodle today and clicked through to find out it’s a train designed by mid-century industrial designer Raymond Loewy, whose 120th birthday would've been today."

I hadn't realized that Loewy had also worked for our Munich car-maker, BMW. Back in the day I was a big fan of the Loewy Studebaker and the 507-03 certainly hints as what was to come. I love the off-centre placement of the BMW logo.
