That was May, then

I have the impression that Jessica very much enjoyed her weekend in London, visiting her friend Kaya. There are times when a 'selfie' is the only conceivable way of capturing the magic or madness of a fleeting moment.

Jessi is forgiven for having brought back with her to Munich the kind of chill and drizzly weather for which the English capital is famed. But now that we bid farewell to the month of May there is hope of days here with the Mercury topping 20 degrees once more.

Then, of course, CafĂ© Schwabing will be even more direly missed. The sitooterie in the form of the tables on the pavement was for years a prerequisite for full enjoyment of urban summer. None of the alternative venues in the vicinity offer a comparable front row seat from which to observe the comings and goings of the neighbourhood.

Which is rather sad... and not groovy at all!
