Wiki tells us that in many countries, the working classes sought to make May Day an official holiday, and their efforts largely succeeded. May Day has long been a focal point for demonstrations by various socialist, communist and anarchist groups. In Germany, May Day coincides with Walpurgisnacht.
If I could cast a witches' sabbath spell I think I might use it to conjure up huge internet enterprises... the likes of Google, Facebook and Amazon... owned by the users.
