The Ides of March fall on the Tuesday of next week. I most sincerely hope that those who have organized vitally important summit meetings in Vienna, Geneva or Brussels are fully aware of events which transpired in the year 44BC, two thousand and sixty years ago!
The Ides should properly usher in a period of festivities in advance of the Vernal Equinox later this month. Let's hope that all of the echeduled summity brings outcomes which are propitious for the 'year's dawn', when the sunny days become once again longer than the dark nights.
