Reading matters

I am currently binge reading 'Yorkshire Noir', many-lawered police procedurals written by David Mark. Noteworthy is the fact that there is a story arc persisting and unresolved across the novels I have read until now... the books echo the structure of a long-form television series, with each episode delivering as a stand-alone, but promising a continuity which incites the viewer/reader to return for more. Adding to the pleasure is the fact that each of the four Kindle editions I have downloaded has been priced at just EUR 0.99!
