Oh well...

Words fail me! It's not yet decided, but it looks like a Trump win. For the second time this year 'the people' have spoken, and their voice has been hysterical, strident with visceral anger.

Perplexing days ahead.

from The Guardian...
"We thought the United States would step back from the abyss. We believed, and the polls led us to feel sure, that Americans would not, in the end, hand the most powerful office on earth to an unstable bigot, sexual predator and compulsive liar."

From the Quartz newsfeed...
"Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton, an upset on the scale of the UK’s Brexit decision to leave the European Union five months ago, triggered a more than 4% plunge of US stock futures in Asia and is likely to rattle American alliances and test the social cohesion of the US itself."

We might as well take seriously the spectre of another Scottish independence referendum!

You think words fail YOU How about those of us who have to inhabit the same geographical space with the
idiots who thought this disgusting person should be considered for ANY office, let alone the presidency. I wish I could find some grounds for my own deportation!
