Eid mubarak

Out here in the Sandlands we have an additional special holiday to observe. Between Christmas and Hogmanay comes Eid. The fact that all the holidays fall so closely together may, I hope, inspire some to conclude that as human beings of whatever religious persuasion or even lack thereof, there must be more that brings us closer together than that drives us apart.
