BBTV

BoingBoing was one of the first blogs I became addicted to. I like its irreverent, not always too serious take on the zeitgeist. And I admire its stance on issues where gravitas is called for. I have also rediscovered science fiction thanks to Cory.

And from today there's BBTV online, episode one embedded below. The video is high quality, using the content management and publishing software from Castfire.

I shall subscribe, of course, and reserve my judgement for a month or so. Episode one, however, shocked me a bit; strangely I found it too California slick, with the bonbon pink backgrounds. From BoingBoing I think I subconsciously expected something more gritty and urban, as off-the-wall as the Brazilian GemaTV.
