Let us simply accept that doping is a given.

There was even a report on television last night about the possibility of adding clandestine electric motors to boost performance on critical ascents... doping the bikes themselves.

It may have been a persiflage, I wasn't paying that much attention.

But I have always loved watching the Tour because it is an annual exploration of the wonderful countryside of a country that means so much for me.
