...and with my German hat on...

For the duration of previous weeks... as referenced in this blog... a portion of the beach across from my office was given over to a Formula One FanZone. Now it has been transformed into a Football Village, in support of the current FIFA Club World Cup tournament being staged in Abu Dhabi.

This Football Village will also be the venue for tonight's German Brass Music in the Emirates performance. As a fan of oompah-oompah I shall definitely be there. Watching football on a Jumbotron screen on the beach also promises to be an interesting experience!

I think I should invest in a baseball cap branded for the Al Wahda football team... (Photo to follow!)
